The Beacon is a way to bring together organisations in Cumbria that work for a sustainable and fair society and that have a world view at their core. The aim of this network is to show that there is a strong group of third, private and public sector organisations that, through their everyday work, illustrate that they are global citizens and help to make Cumbria a Beacon of Global Citizenship.
The aim of the Cumbria as a Beacon of Global Citizenship network is to show that there are many organisations from the third, private and public sectors that all have at their core a sustainable, fair and world view. The organisations who hold these values are global citizens and their current and future plans play this out and help make Cumbria a Beacon of Global Citizenship.
We are pleased to have the following organisations shining out as part of Cumbria's Beacon. If you think your organisation, group or business shares this vision and would also like to be represented, please contact us at CDEC.
