CAfS has been working towards its vision of a zero carbon Cumbria for more than 20 years. The charity runs practical projects and events across the county to help people, communities and businesses to live and work more sustainably.
CAfS is well known for its annual Cumbria Green Build & Sustainable Living Festival, featuring dozens of events and activities to give people the information and inspiration they need to cut their carbon footprint in their homes and other buildings.
CAfS’ current services include Cold to Cosy Homes Cumbria, offering free draught-proofing and energy advice.
