Stop-motion animation and collage art from the Eid Al Adha celebration event at Walney Community Centre on 23 July 2021.

The stop-motion animation session, led by filmmaker Sophie & translated into Arabic by Faten, invited anyone interested to design & make an avatar or character they could animate and interact with objects in and around a (pre-made) mini Barrow skyline set using a professional software programme called DragonFrame. Mini 'scenes' both humorous and sobering were organically created by adults and children throughout the day.

The collage taster, led by community artist Danielle & supported by Kezz, invited attendees to create a piece made using any of the wide range of craft materials available that reflected what made them feel 'welcome' or as a welcome message to others in their communities.
